Terms of Service

Terms for using SaaS.Vote, including accounts, product reviews, moderation, and responsibilities of users and product owners.

Last updated: November 7, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of SaaS.Vote (“the Service”, “Platform”), owned and operated by PLAYVY LLP (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

SaaS.Vote is a platform for publishing and reading verified SaaS product reviews. Reviews are tied to LinkedIn identities for transparency and authenticity. The Service also allows SaaS product owners to list and manage their products.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, submitting a review, listing a product, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

3. User Accounts

  • You must authenticate via LinkedIn to use account-related features.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • You must provide accurate information. Impersonation or providing false identity information is prohibited.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms.

4. User Content & Reviews

4.1 Your Responsibility

  • You are solely responsible for the content of your reviews and any information you submit to the Platform.
  • You represent and warrant that your reviews are truthful, based on genuine experience, and do not contain defamatory, misleading, fraudulent, or illegal content.
  • You must not submit reviews for products you have not actually used.

4.2 Content License

By submitting content to the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, display, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content in connection with the Service. This license survives account termination.

4.3 Content Moderation

  • Reviews and author edits publish immediately for products already published in the catalog. Customer verification does not delay publication.
  • Authors can edit their reviews, but cannot delete individual reviews after submission. The public history shows the original review and every updated version, including the rating and text. Account deletion remains available as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • Moderators review reports requesting removal. A report does not itself hide a review; an upheld report hides it, while a dismissed report leaves it visible. Product teams cannot edit or remove reviews themselves.
  • All moderation actions are logged publicly for transparency.
  • We employ reasonable efforts to maintain fair moderation, but we make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of moderation decisions.

4.4 Feedback Boards

  • Products with a claimed profile may have feedback boards where anyone can suggest features or report problems. Suggestions are User Content, and sections 4.1 and 4.2 apply to them.
  • Suggestions stay private until the product team publishes them. Published suggestions are shown without the author’s name.
  • The product team decides which suggestions to publish and may edit, re-label, move, decline, or delete suggestions on its boards. Feedback boards are separate from reviews and do not affect ratings.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or defamatory reviews
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or product owners
  • Attempt to manipulate ratings or reviews (including fake reviews, vote manipulation, or review exchange schemes)
  • Buy, sell, or offer payment or other incentives for reviews or ratings
  • Use the Service for spam, advertising, or unauthorized commercial purposes
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Service without our express written permission
  • Circumvent any security or access controls

We reserve the right to take any action we deem appropriate, including account termination and legal action, in response to prohibited conduct.

6. SaaS Product Listings

  • Product owners may list their SaaS products on the Platform.
  • By listing a product, you represent that you have authorization to do so.
  • We do not verify the claims made by product owners and are not responsible for the accuracy of product listings.
  • We reserve the right to remove any listing at our sole discretion.
  • Featured placement is a paid, clearly labeled placement in the home page spotlight or at the top of the product’s own category page. It does not change reviews, ratings, moderation, or how reviews are shown on product pages. See section 7 for how it is bought.
  • We do not sell reviews or ratings, and no payment changes them.

7. Payments and No Refund Policy

7.1 Payments

  • Some features for businesses are paid: the Pro subscription, email invitation credits and Featured placement. Reading and writing reviews, suggesting and voting for ideas on feedback boards, customer verification, the invite link and QR code stay free.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card details. You buy as a business, on behalf of the product you manage; at checkout you enter your company’s billing details (name, address and, where applicable, tax ID), and you receive an invoice and a receipt.
  • Prices are shown before you pay, on the product’s Billing tab and on the Stripe checkout page. We may change prices for future purchases; a change never affects a purchase already made.
  • Taxes (such as VAT or sales tax) are added where they apply and are shown at checkout before you pay. You are responsible for any other taxes, duties or fees in your jurisdiction.
  • Paying never changes reviews, ratings, their order, labels or moderation, and gives no influence over them (sections 4 and 6).

7.2 Email invitation credits

  • One credit is used for one email review invitation sent through SaaS.Vote, from the dashboard, the API or an automation. A credit is used only when the email is actually sent; invitations that are not sent (for example canceled, skipped or undeliverable) give their credit back.
  • Credits are prepaid, belong to the product they were bought for, cannot be transferred to another product and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • Credits are valid for 12 months from purchase. The oldest credits are used first. Credits not used within that period expire and are not refunded. We email the product owner about 30 days before credits expire (if they receive email notifications).
  • Use credits only to invite people you have the right to contact about your product (for example your own customers, under the law that applies to you, such as UK GDPR and PECR), and keep to the invitation limits and rules shown in the dashboard. Everyone who receives an invitation can unsubscribe, and we never invite them again for any product.
  • If the product or its team breaks these Terms (for example by inviting people without the right to do so), we may suspend email invitations or the use of credits.
  • Featured placement can be bought for a period (for example 30 or 90 days) for a product that is claimed, published and whose ownership is verified. A placement starts when the payment is confirmed; buying again while your product is featured adds the new period after the current one.
  • The number of Featured places shown at the same time is limited: on the home page in total, and in each category. When all places of a placement are taken, it cannot be bought; for the home page you can leave a request instead, and we show when the nearest place frees up. We do not reserve future dates.
  • Featured placement is labeled as paid and only affects the home page spotlight or the Featured block of the product’s category page. We may end a placement early if the product breaks these Terms.

7.4 Pro subscription

  • Pro is a subscription for one product, billed monthly or yearly in advance. It adds tools for the product’s team: owner analytics, the read API and webhooks, automatic invitations through integrations, the carousel and list widgets, and extended feedback boards (several and private boards, no item limit, notifications). The current features and prices are shown on the For business page and the product’s Billing tab.
  • Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period, and the price of the next period is charged to the payment method you gave at checkout, until you cancel.
  • Cancel any time in the Stripe customer portal (Billing tab → Manage in Stripe). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period: Pro stays active until then and is not charged again.
  • Free trial. A product may get one free trial (its length is shown before you subscribe). When the trial ends, the subscription converts to a paid one and is charged unless you cancel before the trial ends. A product that already uses Pro for free until a date (for example as an early user) can subscribe before that date; the first charge is then on that date.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it for a limited time and Pro stays active meanwhile; if the payment still fails, the subscription ends.
  • Price changes. We may change the price of Pro. A new price applies to existing subscriptions only from the next billing period after we have told the product owner by email at least 30 days in advance; you can cancel before it applies.
  • What happens when Pro ends (cancellation, failed payment or the end of free Pro): nothing is deleted. Your data, API keys, webhooks, connections and boards are kept, and Pro features pause: API calls answer that Pro is required, webhook deliveries wait (and expire after 3 days), carousel and list embeds show the free card widget, extra and private feedback boards become read-only and only the first public board takes new ideas, up to 100 items. Everything works again when Pro is active.
  • Pro never changes reviews, ratings, their order, labels or moderation.

7.5 No refunds

All services provided through SaaS.Vote are non-refundable. This includes invitation credits (used, unused or expired), Featured placement and Pro subscriptions: there are no refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused time after a cancellation, or downgrades. Any paid features, subscriptions, or premium services we introduce in the future will also be final and non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise. By making any payment, you acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under applicable law that cannot be excluded.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

10. Reputation & Review Disclaimer

10.1 No Guarantee of Review Accuracy

Reviews on the Platform are submitted by individual users and represent their personal opinions and experiences. We do not endorse, verify the accuracy of, or assume any responsibility for the content of any user review.

10.2 No Liability for Reputational Impact

We understand that reviews — both positive and negative — can affect the reputation of SaaS products and their owners. However:

  • We are not responsible for any reputational damage, loss of business, emotional distress, or any other harm resulting from reviews published on the Platform.
  • We act as a neutral platform providing a venue for user-generated content. We do not create, edit, or influence user reviews.
  • While we implement best practices for content moderation (including public moderation logs, identity verification via LinkedIn, and dispute mechanisms), we cannot guarantee that all reviews are fair, accurate, or free from bias.

10.3 Dispute Process

  • Product owners may report reviews they believe violate our guidelines.
  • We will review such reports in good faith and take action if we determine a violation occurred.
  • We are under no obligation to remove any review, and our moderation decisions are final.
  • All moderation actions and outcomes are publicly logged.

10.4 Best Practices

We follow industry best practices to maintain a fair and transparent review platform:

  • LinkedIn Identity Verification — Each review is tied to a real LinkedIn identity
  • Proof Levels — Reviews carry verification indicators (API-verified, manually confirmed)
  • Public Moderation Logs — All moderation actions are transparent and visible
  • Dispute Mechanisms — Product owners can report and dispute reviews
  • Anti-Fraud Measures — We actively detect and prevent fake or manipulative reviews

Despite these measures, we make no guarantees of absolute fairness or accuracy.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PLAYVY LLP, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Service

  • Any content you submit to the Service

12. Intellectual Property

  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.
  • User-submitted content remains the intellectual property of respective users, subject to the license granted in Section 4.2.

13. Termination

  • We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
  • Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply (including Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Content License).

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SaaS.Vote operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
  • Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
  • You agree to waive any right to participate in a class-action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and PLAYVY LLP regarding the use of the Service.

17. Changes to Terms
