SaaS.Vote helps you choose software through reviews from real people. Every author signs in with LinkedIn, reviews publish immediately, and the labels next to a review show how much we know about its author.
Reading reviews
Each product page shows the average rating out of 5 and the number of published reviews. Only published reviews count towards the rating.
Every review shows the author’s name and photo. If the author chose to show their LinkedIn profile, you also see their company and title and can open their SaaS.Vote profile. A link to LinkedIn itself appears only when the author allowed contact.
The product team can reply under a review. Replies are public, so you see both sides.
What the labels mean
- Verified on LinkedIn
- LinkedIn confirmed the author’s identity.
- Verified customer
- There is extra proof that the author uses the product. The method is shown next to it: the product’s API, a customer list or the product team’s confirmation.
- Email confirmed
- The author confirmed, with a one-time code, the email they say they use the product with. They are not a confirmed customer: the product’s API, customer list and team have not confirmed that address.
- Invited
- The product team invited the author. Invited reviews publish immediately under the same rules as other reviews.
- Customer verification pending
- No extra proof yet. The author still signed in with a real LinkedIn account.
- Owner replied
- The product team answered the review in public.
- Edited
- The author changed the review after it was published. Earlier versions stay visible.
Writing a review
- Sign in with LinkedIn. We use it to confirm that you are a real person.
- Choose the product. Select an existing published product from the catalog. If it is missing, add it separately first and wait for its page to be published.
- Rate it and write. Give 1 to 5 stars and write 20–2000 characters: what you use it for, what works and what doesn’t.
- Help confirm you are a customer (optional). If the product team has connected customer verification, we check automatically with the email from your LinkedIn account. If you use the product with a different email, you can add it instead. We do not verify it, so it is not checked automatically: only the product team sees it, to find you among their customers and confirm you manually. It is never shown publicly.
- Choose what others see. Turn on “Show my LinkedIn profile on the review” to show your company, title and profile link. Otherwise only your name and photo are shown.
Tips for a helpful review
- Write about a product you have actually used.
- Be specific: what you use it for, for how long, what works and what doesn’t.
- Keep it fair and factual: no insults, ads or personal data.
- Owners, team members and employees cannot review their own product.
Fake reviews and review exchanges are against the rules and can be removed. The full rules are in the Terms of Service.
After you submit
- Immediate publication. Your review appears on the product page as soon as you submit it.
- Customer verification. Verification runs separately and may add a label later. It does not delay publication.
- Replies. The product team may answer it in public.
You can find all your reviews in My Reviews in your dashboard.
You can edit a review. Changes publish immediately, and the history shows the original review and every updated version with its rating, text and publication date. Individual reviews cannot be deleted after submission.
Suggesting features
Every product whose team has claimed its page has a public feedback board (roadmap) with the columns Under review, Planned, In progress and Done. Open it with the Roadmap & feedback button on the product page.
- Anyone can suggest an idea. Leave an email, or sign in with LinkedIn. Only the product team sees who wrote a suggestion; the public board never shows it.
- The team decides what goes public. A suggestion stays private until the team publishes it, so spam and duplicates never appear.
- Vote for what you need. Signed-in users can vote for published items.
- Hear back. If you ask for updates, we email you when your suggestion is published or its status changes.
Feedback boards are separate from reviews and never change a product’s rating.
Your profile and privacy
In the Profile section of your dashboard you decide:
- Public review profile: whether people can open your SaaS.Vote profile from your reviews.
- LinkedIn contact: whether your LinkedIn link is shown publicly.
More about the data we keep is in the Privacy Policy.
